This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04405) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human DNAJB12, targeting the amino acid region 2–248 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human DNAJB12 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. DNAJB12 (JB12), a ER transmembrane chaperone, specifically interacts with Hsc70 to facilitate ER retention and delivery of membrane proteins for folding or degradation in the ERAD pathway. Hsc70 chaperone activities require the substrate targeting function of DNAJB12. DNAJB12 recruits specific substrates to contact Hsc70 and then stimulates its ATPase activity. (PMID: 34668642).
DPABH-04405 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:8,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:500–1:2,000) applications.
DPABH-04405 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
