General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18399) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human DGAT1, targeting the amino acid region 251–350 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with DGAT1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, and horse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Acyl-CoA:diacylglycerol acyltransferase 1 (DGAT1) is a crucial microsomal enzyme located in the endoplasmic reticulum that catalyzes the final, rate-limiting step of triglyceride synthesis—combining diacylglycerol and fatty acyl-CoA. It is essential for dietary fat absorption in the intestine and lipid storage in adipose tissue. Due to its role in obesity and metabolic disorders, it is a key therapeutic target.
DPABH-18399 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-18399 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
