General Notes

This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21089) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human COL19A1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with COL19A1 from rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes the alpha chain of type XIX collagen, a member of the FACIT collagen family (fibril-associated collagens with interrupted helices). Although the function of this collagen is not known, other members of this collagen family are found in association with fibril-forming collagens such as type I and II, and serve to maintain the integrity of the extracellular matrix. The transcript produced from this gene has an unusually large 3' UTR which has not been completely sequenced.
DPABH-21089 is suitable for use in WB 1 (1000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications.
DPABH-21089 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
