This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18883) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CNGA3, targeting the amino acid region 590–694 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CNGA3 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CNGA3 is a member of the cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channel protein family which is required for normal vision and olfactory signal transduction. Mutations in CNGA3 gene are associated with achromatopsia (rod monochromacy) and color blindness. Three alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described. DPABH-18883 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications. DPABH-18883 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
