General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26633) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CLCNKA, targeting the amino acid region 515–687 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CLCNKA from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. CLCNKA is a member of the CLC family of voltage-gated chloride channels which have several functions including the regulation of cell volume; membrane potential stabilization, signal transduction and transepithelial transport. It is predicted to have 12 transmembrane domains, and requires a beta subunit called barttin to form a functional channel. It is thought to function in salt reabsorption in the kidney, which may be important in urinary concentrating mechanisms, and potassium recycling in the inner ear.
DPABH-26633 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:400–1:1,000) applications.
DPABH-26633 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
