General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02255) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CARS2, targeting the amino acid region 331–564 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Cars2 (mitochondrial cysteine-tRNA synthetase 2) is a class I aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase encoded by nuclear gene, which locates in mitochondria. Its core function is to catalyze cysteine to bind to corresponding trna, and ensure the translation of mitochondrial protein. Its mutation will cause diseases related to mitochondrial dysfunction. DPABH-02255 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IF/ICC (1:200–1:800) applications. DPABH-02255 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
