General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-06612) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human C11orf70, targeting the amino acid region 1–229 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human C11orf70 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The CFAP300 protein is an important member of the cilia- and flagella-associated protein family, localized in the basal body and axoneme structures of cellular cilia. It plays a central role in ciliary assembly and stability, primarily by participating in the transport and anchoring of pre-assembled complexes within the cytoplasm. Research indicates that mutations in the CFAP300 gene lead to structural and functional defects in cilia, which are closely associated with various human ciliopathies, such as primary ciliary dyskinesia, heterotaxy, and male infertility. Loss of its function disrupts intraflagellar transport, affecting key physiological processes including left-right axis determination during embryonic development and mucociliary clearance in the respiratory tract. Therefore, CFAP300 is a crucial protein molecule for understanding ciliary biology and the mechanisms of related diseases.
DPABH-06612 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:20–1:200), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-06612 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
