This product (Catalog No. DPABH-03924) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ATXN10. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ATXN10 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a protein that may function in neuron survival, neuron differentiation, and neuritogenesis. These roles may be carried out via activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase cascade. Expansion of an ATTCT repeat from 9-32 copies to 800-4500 copies in an intronic region of this locus has been associated with spinocerebellar ataxia, type 10. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. DPABH-03924 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:50–1:200) applications. DPABH-03924 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
