General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-12318) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ATP5S. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ATP5S from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a subunit of mitochondrial ATP synthase. Mitochondrial ATP synthase catalyzes ATP synthesis, utilizing an electrochemical gradient of protons across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. ATP synthase is composed of two linked multi-subunit complexes: the soluble catalytic core, F1, and the membrane-spanning component, Fo, comprising the proton channel. This gene encodes the subunit s, also known as factor B, of the proton channel. This subunit is necessary for the energy transduction activity of the ATP synthase complexes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
DPABH-12318 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-12318 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
