General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05547) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ATP1B2, targeting the amino acid region 81–290 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ATP1B2 is encoded by ATP1B2 gene, and it belongs to the family of Na+/K+ and H+/K+ ATPases beta chain proteins, which is the subfamily of Na+/K+-ATPases. ATP1B2 gene is located on human chromosome 17p13.1 and there are two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found. The beta subunit of Na+/K+ -ATPases can be encoded by many genes, ATP1B2 gene encodes a beta 2 subunit. ATP1B2 is predominantly expressed in brain and ovary, with a preferential binding to ATP1A2, which is mainly found in astrocytes after completion of development.
DPABH-05547 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-05547 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
