General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-15872) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ANXA2, targeting the amino acid region 1–339 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ANXA2 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Annexin A2 (ANXA2), also known as p36, lipocortin II, or calpactin I, is a 36 kDa calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein encoded by the ANXA2 gene on human chromosome 15q22.2, belonging to the annexin family characterized by their ability to bind phospholipids in a calcium-regulated manner. It exists primarily as a monomer in the cytoplasm but can form a heterotetrameric complex (AIIt) with the S100A10 protein (p11), which enhances its affinity for membranes and ligands, enabling diverse roles in cellular homeostasis. This protein localizes to multiple compartments, including the plasma membrane, endosomes, nucleus, and extracellular space, where it orchestrates processes such as membrane trafficking, fibrinolysis, angiogenesis, and immune modulation.
DPABH-15872 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:2,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-15872 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
