ANKRD6 (ankyrin repeat domain 6) is a protein-coding gene. Diseases associated with ANKRD6 include skin squamous cell carcinoma, and situs inversus, and among its related super-pathways are Wnt signaling pathway. An important paralog of this gene is ANKDD1A. Recruits CKI-epsilon to the beta-catenin degradation complex that consists of AXN1 or AXN2 and GSK3-beta and allows efficient phosphorylation of beta-catenin, thereby inhibiting beta-catenin/Tcf signals (By similarity).
Pathway
Wnt Signaling Pathway NetPath.
