This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19339) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human AFF2, targeting the amino acid region 1–80 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AFF2 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, and horse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a putative transcriptional activator that is a member of the AF4\FMR2 gene family. This gene is associated with the folate-sensitive fragile X E locus on chromosome X. A repeat polymorphism in the fragile X E locus results in silencing of this gene causing Fragile X E syndrome. Fragile X E syndrome is a form of nonsyndromic X-linked cognitive disability. In addition, this gene contains 6-25 GCC repeats that are expanded to >200 repeats in the disease state. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
DPABH-19339 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
DPABH-19339 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
