This product (Catalog No. DPABH-02406) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ACVR1C. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ACVR1C from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Serine/threonine protein kinase which forms a receptor complex on ligand binding. The receptor complex consisting of 2 type II and 2 type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators, SMAD2 and SMAD3. Receptor for activin AB, activin B and NODAL. Plays a role in cell differentiation, growth arrest and apoptosis. DPABH-02406 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000), IHC 1 (50-1:200) applications. DPABH-02406 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
