This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL290) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human ANKRD28. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with ANKRD28 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. ANKRD28 (Ankyrin Repeat Domain 28), also known as PITK or PPP1R65, is a protein-coding gene functioning as a regulatory subunit for protein phosphatase 6 (PP6). It acts as a scaffold protein that regulates cell migration, focal adhesion formation, and acts as a substrate-targeting subunit for phosphatase complexes. Recent research highlights its role in cancer, where it promotes drug resistance, particularly in multiple myeloma.
CABT-BL290 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application.
CABT-BL290 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
