This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL232) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human AGR3, targeting the amino acid region 65–160 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AGR3 from mouse, rat, chicken, cow, horse, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a member of the disulfide isomerase (PDI) family of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) proteins that catalyze protein folding and thiol-disulfide interchange reactions. The encoded protein has an N-terminal ER-signal sequence, a catalytically active thioredoxin domain, and a C-terminal ER-retention sequence. This gene is expressed in ciliated airway epithelial cells and, in mouse, plays a role in ciliary beat frequency in multiciliated cells. This gene is also over-expressed in breast, ovarian, and prostrate cancers.
CABT-BL232 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), ELISA (1:5,000–1:10,000) applications.
CABT-BL232 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
