General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-BL229) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human AGPHD1, targeting the amino acid region 151–250 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with AGPHD1 from mouse, rat, and pig. It has been affinity purified by protein A. AGPHD1, also known as HYKK (Hydroxylysine Kinase), is a human enzyme that catalyzes the ATP-dependent phosphorylation of 5-hydroxy-l-lysine. It is primarily recognized for its role in metabolic pathways and as a key gene in the 15q25.1 chromosome region associated with lung cancer risk, specifically via the rs8034191 polymorphism. CABT-BL229 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. CABT-BL229 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
